How we verify and label information
Boulder’s first Sundance is a moving target: transport plans, parking rules, and ticket details are still being finalized by the organizations that run them. Our job is to track that process honestly, not to smooth over the uncertainty.
Status labels
Every time-sensitive claim on this site carries one of four labels:

| Confirmed | Stated directly by an official source (Sundance Institute, City of Boulder, CU Boulder, or Visit Boulder) with no remaining ambiguity. |
| Planned | An official source has announced intent (a shuttle program, a bike-share partnership) but hasn’t published operating hours, routes, or eligibility yet. |
| Pending | No official detail exists yet; we note the expected timing if one has been given. |
Sourcing
We link primary sources next to the claims they support, not buried in a footnote. When two official sources disagree, as currently happens with the press-credential opening date, we say so and note which one we treated as authoritative and why.
What we don’t do
We don’t publish invented schedules, guessed ticket prices, or “predicted” lineups dressed up as fact. We don’t recycle Park City advice and relabel it for Boulder, different city, different geography, different rules. We don’t run a page for every hotel or every keyword variant; if two pages would say the same thing, we merge them.

Found something wrong? See the Corrections page. We fix factual errors as soon as we can confirm them and note the change in the page’s update history.
Review cadence
Pages tied to fast-moving facts (parking, tickets, transport) are re-checked at least monthly between now and January 2027, and immediately after any official announcement that touches them.
