Sundance 2027 tickets and passes explained
Ticket pricing and the final rules for passes, packages, and single film tickets are not official yet. Preliminary indications point to pass and package sales opening in October 2026, with single film tickets following in early January 2027, but we are not publishing numbers we cannot source, and neither should anyone else at this stage.

Where to buy
Once pricing is official, tickets and passes will be sold through Sundance Institute’s own platform. We link directly to the official ticketing site rather than reselling or brokering access, and we will flag common scam patterns (fake resale listings, unofficial “guaranteed access” offers) once single film tickets go on sale and those patterns typically appear.
How to think about pass types before pricing is public
The core tradeoff, once pricing lands, will be volume versus flexibility. A pass or package generally suits someone planning multiple screenings a day across the full festival. Single film tickets suit someone targeting a handful of specific screenings. We will build a full comparison once real numbers exist rather than guess at value now.
