How Sundance actually runs day to day
Expect a published daily schedule of screenings across the festival’s venues, with public tickets, badge or pass holder access, and separate waitlist or rush lines for sold-out shows. Standby lines have historically been a real way to get into popular screenings without a reserved ticket, though exact policies for 2027 will come from Sundance Institute closer to the festival. What’s genuinely different about Boulder
Park City required shuttles or a car to move between venues spread across a resort town. That means a first-timer’s biggest planning win is picking lodging inside or near that footprint rather than defaulting to a rental car out of habit.
